Welcome!

My name is Molly Bechtel and I am a fourth year PhD candidate under the advisement of Dr. Jeff Foster, at Northern Arizona University. My dissertation research focuses on the interaction between ticks, tick-borne pathogens and the Mojave desert burrowing community. I am interested in how tick-borne pathogens interact with Mojave desert tortoises and public health.
